“I didn’t know where else to turn. Abigail was completely out of control and also could not communicate. Her chronic ear infections the first year of life left her with an unbelievable speech delay. That left us dealing with a child I could not communicate with or understand. We were also dealing with a child I could not take anywhere because I knew what the results would be—both of us in tears. Abigail had no attention span, could not focus on any activity, and absolutely would not ride in a stroller or a cart. I could not change our “schedule” because Abigail would lose any control she did have.

I was tryied everything. My last hope was OsteoMed II. After our second session everyone we knew commented on Abigail’s increased vocabulary and communication. Abigail sat for the first time in her short life for a whole meal! We were reading stories again because she could sit for more than 30 seconds! We now sing the whole alphabet and count to 100 together. I can take my little girl to the park and she won’t hit me and scratch me when we are ready to leave. I can go shopping and recently, we went on an enjoyable vacation, 13 hours by car!

Instead of crying every night because I don’t know what’s wrong with my little girl, I cry at night of happiness because I can talk to and play with my “pookie bear.” I dream of the day I might be able to call her “normal.” We continue to see Dr. Cheryl for our regular "check ups" and get additional treatments when needed. The improvements keep coming and our lives have vastly improved. I never thought we would be able to remove the "labels." Thank you Dr. Cheryl, DeeDee and everyone else at OsteoMed II. When Christian first came to see Dr. Cheryl, he had been diagnosed with PDD-NOS at the age of three. He was a miserable child with severe digestive problems and many food allergies. He has very little meaningful speech and couldn't sit still for more than 30 seconds! Today at age 7, he is a happy, healthy kid in a typical second grade class. Greg completed his treatments at OsteoMed II with Dr. Cheryl four years ago. He is now 11 years old and thriving.
